After leaving California the brutal cold of Alaska was an amazing slap back to reality. The beauty of that state from the air is nothing short of amazing but after landing in thirty plus knot fifteen degree winds I have to say winter in Alaska is best experienced sparingly. I got off the airplane walked to the bag compartment and my hands were in serious pain. It took all of ten seconds.

Must've been fun just trying to land in 30 kt winds.
Winds were right down the runway so it wasn't too bad. A little bumpy but no big deal otherwise.
