A Great Loss...

When you get to the mid-point, things like cancer happen. Yesterday, my dear friend Lissa Chase lost her battle with breast cancer. Lissa was one of our flight attendants and we worked together for 17 years. We traveled the world together, shared countless meals, sang John Denver and Jimmy Buffet songs together and now she is gone. She was as honest and transparent a friend as I have ever known and the loss will be felt for a long time to come.

I really need to talk to Bill Jr.,
you have WAY too much time to ride!

How are the rest of us supposed to compete with someone that trains like he is looking for a pro contract? :-)

Some of us are lucky to sneek in 1.5hrs a couple times a week... :-(

My jealousy/envy is high!!

The "Man" is going to own a lot more of me in the coming weeks that is for sure. For instance, tomorrow, I fly several hours, try and sleep a couple hours in a hotel room then fly right back. Land in Detroit about 2:30-3am, home in bed by 4-4:30am Saturday am. Next week, up at 4am, fly all day, land at 5pm, arrive home at 6-630pm gassed. Off Tuesday then fly all day Wed. Overnight, then fly all day Thursday to get home. My schedule is all over the place which would drive some nuts and it can also be exhausting. This is especially true when flying across multiple time zones which will be happening again soon.
